摘要

合作思想之父（Rober Owen 1771－1858）歐文倡導合作化社會，此一主張影響孫中山先生至大且鉅，孫中山先生終乃主張「將來中國之實業，建設於合作的基礎之上。」國外研究歐文合作經濟思想之文獻較多，國內研究歐文之文獻則少，且文章僅述及歐文思想之片斷，本文試圖對歐文合作經濟思想作一全貌性之探討，以期擴展經濟思想之研究領域。本文之研究，涵蓋引言、歐文合作經濟思想之形成、析論、社會實驗及其評價。本文與一般文獻之差異，在於延用經濟學之分析工具，分析歐文之論點，同時，對於歐文合作經濟思想給予正反面之評價。文末筆者研擬七點結論：（一）歐文重視勞工階級生活水準之提升，終其一生全為經濟弱者造福，利他思想深厚，足為世人表率。（二）歐文主張為消費而生產，非為交換而生產，力促消費者與生產者直接交益，避免中間商剝削，是為消費合作理論之根源。（三）歐文合作化社會之主張，重視道德、人性與互助精神，不失為人本與合作思想之闡揚者。（四）歐文認為人是環境的產物，指摘貨幣是一種罪惡，強調政治改革之無益，此等主張不易說服政治、經濟及社會學家，必然引起爭議。（五）在歐文經濟思想裡，一方面極力主張為消費而生產，此與凱因斯之重視有效需求面，有相同之看法，可見，在比凱因斯早一百多年前，歐文即有此獨特的想法，另一方面，在歐文之貨幣制度下，以勞動力生產價值來發行勞動券，此理念已深深地影響到未來完整的凱因斯模型之勞動市場實質工資之產生，進而推導出現代總體經濟理論之總供給曲線，因此，筆者確認，歐文思想雖理想，但亦有其實質經濟價值之存在。（六）歐文服務人群的觀念，重視人類幸福的理想，終其一生，不圖一己享受，獻身於合作理想與犧牲的精神，影響世界社會主義、合作主義與工會運動，也推動兒童教育及社會福利工作之進展，其貢獻自屬非凡。（七）歐文將改造經濟思想、社會的理想完全託付於知識與教育力量，其思想立基於個人成功之經驗與主觀的信心，難免失之片面與浮泛。

The father of cooperative thought, Robert Owen, advocated cooperativized society. This point of issue has tremendous and far-reaching influence on Dr. Sun-Yat-Sen, who regarded Chinese industry will be constructed over the basis of cooperation in the future.More foreign literature are available about the ideologic research on Owen's cooperative economy system. On the contrary, we have less here. What we have only deals with fragments of Owen's thought. This article tries to make an overall research on Owen's cooperative economic. We expect it will expand the research field on economic thought.This research includes introduction, formation, analysis, social experiment and evaluation of Owen's cooperative economy thought. This article is different from general literature. It takes advantage of analytic tools of economics to analyze Owen's theory on ”against excess-profit”. In the meantime, it also provides positive and negative evaluations to Owen's thought about cooperative economy.
