摘要

本研究目的乃在瞭解目前長期療養機構住民之狀況，包括基本資料、身體功能、日常活動能力、智力及行為問題等方面。台北地區37家願意接受訪視的安養中心，隨機取樣抽143位住民以面對面方式加以評估。結果發現療養機構內收容的住民男性占53.84%，平均年齡73.49歲，平均已住在機構17.03個月。罹患中風者占50.35%，以身體功能量表測得功能差的占14.9%，很差者占4.9%，而自我照顧能力差，大部分依賴者占31.5%，而完全依賴者占36.4%，智力量表得分析60%為痴呆、有行為問題者占55.24%。

The purpose of this study was to understand the characteristics of residents in long-term care facilities. Demographic data, physiccal functions, activities of daily living, mental status and behavior problems of the residents were investigated. Results of this study revealed that residents were 53.84% male, 50.35% having stroke, average age was 73.49, and average institutionalized time was 17.03 months. Findings also suggested that 14.9% of them had poor physical functions and 4.9% of them had very poor physical function, 31.5% mostly dependent and 36.4% completely dependent, 60% demented and 55.24% having behavior-problems.
