The incidence of upper canine impaction is from 1% to 3%, which is the second commonest impaction tooth in the month. With regard to this impacted canine, there are many aspects can be discussed from clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical exposure technique, forced eruption method, retention and so on. This review article will address on these issues according to current literature and help clinicians to have a clear picture on the impacted upper canine.
