Pleomorphic adenoma is a benign tumor that most commonly occurs in the major salivary glands, especially in the parotid gland, and is less commonly found in the minor salivary glands. A painless palpable mass is the usual presenting symptom. Following biopsy or fine needle aspiration to confirm the diagnosis, surgical removal is the treatment of choice. Total excision of pleomorphic adenoma reduces the rates of recurrence and malignant transformation. Herein, a case of pleomorphic adenoma affecting the hard palate is reported.
