Purpose: The purpose of this study were to investigate the effective score, cumulative difficulty score (D score), execution score (E score) of each apparatus, and the cumulative E score between Taiwan, Russia, China, and Japan in the 2019 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Men's Team Final, and to examine the difference between Taiwan's team and other elite international gymnasts. Methods: The participants of this research included the team members of Taiwan, Russia, China, and Japan in the 2019 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Men's Team Final. The independent one-way analysis of variance was used to compare the effective score in five apparatus and E score in six apparatus. The descriptive statistics were applied for the cumulative D and E scores, respectively. Results: For the result of parallel bars apparatus in the 2019 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, it showed that the effective score of Taiwan team was significantly lower than Russia, China, and Japan in the Men's Team Finals. The cumulative D scores of Taiwanese gymnasts in five apparatus were lower than the winners. However, for all six apparatus, there was no significant difference in E score between Taiwan and other countries. The cumulative E scores in rings and vaulting apparatus of Team Taiwan were lower than other elite countries. Conclusion: The major finding of this study is a big gap in parallel bars' effective score, especially for the element group II and group III between Taiwan and other elite teams. Therefore, it is possible to rapidly increase the D score by extending and varying the skills. Taiwanese gymnasts are superior in the performance on E score to others.
