太極拳運動對提升老年人肌力之成效-文獻回顧

A Review of Tai Chi Exercise to Improve the Muscle Strength of the Elderly People

摘要


人口老化快速成長,逐漸形成高齡化社會。高齡社會所帶來的人口問題,是當前最應該被注意並解決的問題。老年人往往會因缺乏運動而導致跌倒的發生,而太極拳運動是近年來認為能有效改善跌倒狀況的運動之一,透過運動介入對老年人在肌力方面的增加是否有正面的效益是值得探討的,若能透過一個有效且效益大之運動去達到肌力增加且能防止跌倒何樂不為。檢索國內外資料庫PubMed、Medline、CEPS思博網、碩博士論文網等資料庫搜尋針對關鍵字為老年人(elderly)、太極拳(Tai Chi)、肌力(muscle strength)等文獻,來探討太極拳運動對老年人肌力介入之成效。結果發現相關文獻指出太極拳運動對於老年人在肌力方面都有顯著地增加且進而增進平衡步態減少跌倒機率。從事太極拳運動對於老年人是有益處,在步態上也較沒有運動者來的平穩許多,但並不是每位老年人都合適從事此項運動,仍需配合專業人員之運動處方施行之。

The most should be resolved that the old society of the population problems in attention and problems. Through the exercise intervention for the elderly in regard to whether the increase in muscle strength have a positive benefit is worth exploring, and if through an efficient and effective movement of large muscle strength increased to achieve and can prevent the fall. Search at database PubMed, Medline, CEPS, master thesis nets database search for the keywords elderly, Tai Chi, muscle strength and other literature of Tai Chi exercise on the intervene effectiveness of elderly muscle. Literature found that Tai Chi movement's strength in the elderly has increased significantly improve balance and gait in turn reduce the risk of falls. Tai Chi exercise is beneficial for the elderly and gait are also better than having no smooth movement, but not everyone involved in this exercise for the elderly, physicians still need to meet the purposes of the exercise prescription.
