數位時代下應具備的社群媒體素養

A Study of Social Media Literacy in Digital Era

摘要


隨著網路與科技的進步,社群媒體與人們的生活產生緊密的連結,學者呼籲重視數位時代下的社群媒體議題,並提出社群媒體素養的必要性。過去媒體素養研究多以檢測人們媒體應用技術與批判能力為主,較少從使用者觀點探討媒體素養。而當代學者們對於社群媒體素養的熱絡討論,以及其建議的方向,需要在這個時代中的社群媒體使用者產生相應的看法與自主行為。因此,本研究以探討數位時代下應具備的社群媒體素養為主軸,旨在探討社群媒體使用者對社群媒體素養的看法,並以網路問卷蒐集與分析不同背景變項之使用者之間的看法與差異。問卷發放時間為2018年12月14日至2019年1月4日,總計回收401份有效問卷。再以敘述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析等統計方式進行分析。研究結果分述如下:(1)社群媒體素養中的「隱私風險」最受社群媒體使用者所重視;(2)不同性別、教育程度與使用時數的使用者,對於社群媒體素養中的四個構面看法皆無顯著差異,唯在不同年齡中,41歲以上的使用者於「倫理規範」、「法律常識」兩個構面中的得分較高。

Following the advancement of the internet and technology, social media make a close connection with people's lives. Scholars have called for the importance of contemporary social media issues and need for social media literacy. In the past, media literacy research mostly focused on detecting people's media application technology and critical ability, but less on media literacy from the perspective of users. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the social media literacy in digital era. Through the online questionnaires to collect the opinion of the users' social media literacy. Total of 401 valid questionnaires were recovered. The collected data were analyzed by statistical methods, as Descriptive Statistics, the Independent sample t-test, One-Way ANOVA. The results found that users pay attention to the privacy risks of social media, users have consistent attitudes of social media literacy, and older user pay more attention to ethical norms and legal commonsense.
