護生模擬妊娠體驗學習之經驗

Student Nurse Experiences with Simulated Pregnancy

摘要


目的:探討初次學習產科護理學女生對親身模擬妊娠之感受與想法。妊娠模擬體驗係嘗試安排學生經由穿著妊娠模擬體驗服,歷經種種日常生活細項,了解到懷孕婦女在懷孕末期的身心感受,而這樣的體驗過程可達成學習者反思內省,能感同身受並激發同理心的發展。方法:採用質性研究法,樣本數為五專四年級學生,以方便取樣選取40位學生妊娠體驗心得報告,採內容分析法進行資料分析。結果:資料分析結果呈現五主題:「體驗變身後的身體感觀變化」、「擬似母性情感表現」、「體認孕婦的需求」、「學習關懷」及「省思少女未婚懷孕的難處」。結論:本研究發現模擬妊娠體驗對學生學習妊娠末期的身心變化概念是有幫助的,過程中的反思及對懷孕婦女同理心,提升其自我成長之能力。

Purposes: This was an initial study of the thoughts and feelings of obstetrical nursing students who participated in a pregnancy simulation experiment. The simulation involved participants wearing a pregnancy suit to experience the attendant daily life issues and better understand the mental and physical feelings of women in late pregnancy in order to empathize with pregnant women under their care. Methods: This study employed a qualitative research method and a purposively selected of forty fourthyear junior college students who were asked to record their perceptions and feelings throughout the experiment process. Researchers used content analysis to analyze data. Results: Five pregnancy experience themes emerged. These included transfiguration and perceived changes to the body, mimicing maternal emotions, perceiving the needs of pregnant women, learning care, reflecting on the difficulties of unmarried pregnant girls. Conclusions: The study found simulating the experience of late pregnancy helpful to understanding the physical and psychological changes that occur during pregnancy. Reflection and developing empathy for pregnant women can enhance the professional and personal growth of obstetrical nursing students.
