餐旅觀光科系學生人格特質、情緒智力與幸福感之關係研究

摘要

本研究目的在於探討餐旅觀光科系學生人格特質、情緒智力與幸福感之間的關係。本研究採用問卷調查方式進行資料收集，利用Pearson相關分析和階層迴歸分析進行假設的驗證。由實證結果發現：人格特質中的開放性、嚴謹性、外向性和親和性與幸福感呈現正相關，神經質的人格特質與幸福感呈現負相關；人格特質中和整體情緒智力僅在神經質上呈現負相關，其餘為正相關；情緒智力高低有調節效果存在，可以影響人格特質中的開放性、嚴謹性、外向性和神經質與幸福感之間的關係。本研究亦針對研究結果提出結論及管理意涵。

The aim of this study is to explore the relationships among personality, emotional intelligence (EI) and well-being for students in the Tourism Department. The study involves a survey and the use of Pearson correlations and hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) to test all proposed hypotheses. The empirical results show that the traits of personality (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion and Agreeableness) have positive relations to well-being, and Neuroticism appears to have a negative relation to well-being. The results are same with personality traits to emotional intelligence. Different levels of emotional intelligence ability (high and low) have a significant moderating effect which influences the personality traits and well-being. The conclusions and management implications are then presented based on the findings.
