The article was to observe and analyze and reflect upon the process of university students’ story-telling verification, and in advanced to feedback on curriculum development. We hope that the students of department of early childhood education and care could possess story-telling competency through the verification. It was to find that the storytelling competency verification was executed hastily, and make few students to prepare less, but most students affirm that story-telling is an important professional competency in teaching young children. Moreover, story-telling should be integrated into all relevant curriculums, and give the students chances to practice story-telling. Finally, it needs to develop reasonable and feasible verified standard and train the students’ basic story-telling competency.
