學生對校外實習滿意度、推薦意願與未來從事醫管工作意願之探討-以科技大學醫管系為例

The Relationship among Internship Satisfaction, Recommendation Intention and Employment Intention-A Study of Students in Healthcare Administration at Technology Universities

摘要


近年來,教育部積極推動與落實校外實習課程,透過學校與產業界機構的合作,讓學生提早累積職場經驗,以提升未來就業競爭力。目前在實習滿意度相關文獻多以餐旅以及觀光休閒相關科系進行探討,對於醫務管理實習之研究少有著墨。故本研究旨在探討醫管系學生對校外實習滿意度、推薦意願與未來從事相關工作意願之關係。本研究對象為中南部三所科技大學學生共有109位。研究結果顯示:實習滿意度構面中的「實習收穫」、「實習機構氛圍」與「推薦學弟妹修習校外實習課程之意願」呈現正相關(p< .01);「實習收穫」滿意度與「未來從事醫管工作意願」也呈現正相關(p< .01)。以逐步迴歸分析發現:「實習收穫」滿意度會顯著影響實習生的「推薦意願」(p< .01),而「實習收穫」與「實習工作挑戰性」滿意度也顯著影響學生「未來從事醫管工作意願」(p< .05)。本研究建議學校、實習生與業界應共同規劃完善的實習計畫,提供學生學習多元的醫管事務,給予具挑戰性的實習工作經驗,讓學生更能體會醫管工作的重要性,將有助於學生未來從事醫管工作的意願。

The Ministry of Education (MOE) in Taiwan has propelled schools and universities toward internship in order for students to accumulate working experiences for future employment. This study investigated the relationship among internship satisfaction, recommendation intention and employment intention of the Healthcare Management students. A total of 109 Healthcare Management intern-students were recruited as study participants. Results found that internship gains and organizational atmosphere were significantly correlated with recommendation intention (p < .01). Internship gains significantly correlated with employment intention (p < .01). Results of stepwise regression analysis showed that internship gains was a significant predictor of recommendation intention (p < .01). Internship gains and internship challenges were significant predictors of employment intention (p < .01). This study suggests that schools, students and internship organizations should all participate in designing the internship program. Challenging job experience of internship should be included in the topics to fulfill students' expectations from internship experiences. Students would be willing to join the Healthcare Management work force if they have better understanding of the work fields' conditions.
