五專護生於國中畢業時,可能由於他人的安排進入護理技職教育體系,對護理工作的性質、接受護理教育的目標不清楚,未來從事護理工作的意願也不確定,急需師長給予適切的輔導。本研究目的在探討生涯探索課程是否能增加護生生涯定向程度、生涯定像滿意程度、及降低生涯未定向成因。研究樣本為某技術學院五專護理科二年級護生,採單組前後測設計,生涯探索課程為五專二年級護生之選修課。分別在學期第一週與最後一週進行前測與後測,有效完成前、後測的護生94人,佔全部選修該課護生之80.3%。測量工具:(一)「生涯定向狀況量表」:包括「生涯定向程度」與「生涯未定向源」二分量表;(二)「生涯探索課程目標收穫程度調查表。」。研究結果顯示,護生在選修本課程後,學期末生涯定向程度顯著高於學期初,「生涯未定向源」總分、「猶豫習性」、「生涯決策焦慮」以及「認識不足」等因素得分顯著降低。護生主觀認知生涯定向狀況之改變與修習本課程有關聯,同時大多數護生對本課程重要目標感覺非常有收穫或有收穫。證實本實驗課程採班級教學方式,能增加五專低年級護生之生涯定向狀況,是值得對低年級互生推展的初級防治生涯輔導模式。
When students graduated from junior high school, they enrolled in the nursing technological education system due to others' arrangement. These students were not only unfamiliar with the nature of nursing profession and the goals of nursing education but also uncertain with the willingness to practice nursing. The purposes of this study were to investigate whether the Career exploration course can increase nursing student's career decision, satisfaction with career decision and decrease reasons of career indecision. The study utilized one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of second year college students who participated the "Career exploration course". The pretest was taken at the first week of class, while the posttest was taken at the last week of class. Ninety-four students completed both the pre- and post-test. The measurements of this study were: Career Development Questionnaire and Benefit level of Career exploration Course Questionnaire. The results showed that (1) The student's career decision level was higher than before taking the course. (2) Total scores of the reasons of career indecision were decreased, especially the scores of habitual indecision career decision anxiety and "insufficient knowledge". At the end of the semester, most of nursing students agreed that the course was beneficial. This study showed "Career exploration "course could improve lower year college student's career decision. Suggestions for developing the career guidance model are made.
