本文是建立在研究場域--「曉芳窯」曾進行五年空間營造的「參與」基礎下,由研究者涉入後開始整個「參與式設計」的操作歷程。透過參與實例進行的空間營造過程,提出「參與關係」發展到「參與式設計」操作的轉換經驗。本研究以三個部份進行: 第一個部份嘗試對於「參與」到「參與式設計」的設計操作提出一個可行的思考方向,以及針對成為「參與式設計」的設計者,設想其具備的條件與工具為何。文獻探討依「參與式設計」如何實踐生活空間的營造過程,所涉及的相關議題進行探討,重點在於生活空間的「永續概念」、「參與式設計的應用」、「模式語言」、「設計互動關係的界定與影響因素」等四個研究觀點。 第二部份描述真實研究場域--「曉芳窯」的沿革背景,說明過去未進行「參與式設計」之前的空間營造「參與」經驗,並以「參與式設計」研究進行後,依研究歷程分為四個運作階段討論。 第三部份說明設計操作實踐過程,包括「參與關係的營造」、「模式應用」、「空間設計發展」的操作經驗,研究提出執行「參與式設計」可能的引起的「參與」改變。 最後,以一個「織網」的行動過程,作為反映「參與式設計」的設計過程,並提出操作方法的建議以及說明操作者應具備的特質。藉由實際操作的設計案例,體驗設計者欲以「參與式設計」作為設計方法的參考案例。
The space design of Hsiao Fang Chinaware Atelier had proceeded for five years. Under the base of five-year space design, I began to participate in the participatory design. This essay is based on such background, proposes a transmutation experience from participatory to participatory design by direct action. There are three approaches to the research as fellow: The first part tries to propose a doable direction to the operation of design from participatory to participatory design, and what designer of participatory design should be. The literature review places emphasis on the process of how participatory design enables living spaces. It focuses on four issues: (1)the sustainability concept of living space, (2)the application of participatory design, (3)pattern language, and (4)the influence factors of interactive design. The second part describes the research process. The history of Hsiao Fang Chinaware Atelier presents the participation experience of space-forming in Hsiao Fang Chinaware Atelier before the research. Then the research is divided into four acting steps according to the participatory process. The third part describes the designing process, including partnership forming, the application of pattern, and the experience through the space-designing development. This part proposes that doing participatory design should change the design process. The conclusion uses the concept of “twist” to reflect the process of participatory design, proposes advisories to proceeding participatory design, and describes the characteristics that the actors should have. The essay attempts to use a real project to present the design process of participatory design.
