台商赴大陸投資額與投資區位因素之 實證研究-以海峽西岸經濟區為例

摘要

本研究的主要目的在以區位選擇的角度探討台商赴海峽西岸經濟區各地級市投資額與區位選擇的決定性因素並比較不同的廠商特性對於區位選擇的影響，主要是以1996年～2006年十年的期間赴中國大陸海峽西岸經濟區投資的台商為研究對象。更具體而言，本研究主要探討三大主題。
在研究主題一中，模型設定以台商赴海峽西岸經濟區的投資額為依變數，而構面探討的海峽西岸經濟區主要地級市的區位特性作為研究的自變數，此部分採用SPSS電腦軟體進行多元迴歸分析，而在橫斷面資料上，本研究採以E-views電腦軟體進行分析。研究結果顯示，各研究變數將影響不同期數（當期、落後一期、落後二期）的投資額；海西區納入十五計畫與北京取得奧運主辦權對台商的投資額有顯著影響；當地的基礎建設的投入（如：供水總量、公路里程數等）對台商赴此區的投資額有顯著的影響；勞動成本對於台商赴海峽西岸經濟區投資額呈負向的關係。
在研究主題二中，模型設定以台商赴海峽西岸經濟區的投資額為依變數，在構面中探討的台商赴海西區投資之自身內部因素作為研究的自變數，此部分採用SPSS電腦軟體進行多元迴歸分析為主進行分析。研究結果顯示，母公司的規模將與台商赴海峽西岸經濟區投資有正向關係；母公司累積大陸的投資經驗將會影響台商赴海西區投資額大小；台商赴海峽西岸經濟區投資多集中在五大產業（電子業、商業及運輸業、塑化業、食品業與紡織業）。
在研究主題三中，模型設定以台商赴海峽西岸經濟區的投資區位（廈門/非廈門）為依變數，而在構面中探討的台商赴海西區投資之自身內部因素作為研究的自變數。研究結果顯示，投資型態為獨資的台商較集中在廈門市；母公司規模較大的台商會偏向投入規劃較健全的城市中投資；電子業、商業及運輸業與紡織業之台商集中在廈門市投資。

The major purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of location choice of Taiwanese enterprises’ investment in the economic zone on the west coast of the Taiwan strait in Mainland China with an emphasis on the macroeconomics advantages of individual city among the economic zone and different characteristics of every investment enterprise. The study period is 1996 to 2006. More specifically, this study treats three subjects.
In the subject 1, we set Taiwan enterprises’ FDI in the economic zone on the west coast of the Taiwan strait in Mainland China to be dependent variables and the location factors from many aspects of every cities to be independent variable of the first model’s setting. We use regression method to establish this emphasis by SPSS program, and use panel data technique by E-views program to analysis the model. Major findings of this subject include: between different variables and FDI flows have time lag effects；the plan 10th five-years, Beijing hold the Olympic games, and the degree of infrastructure of the cities influence the FDI flow of the region；the labor cost is an important factor to influence Taiwan enterprises’ investment amount.
According to the subject 2,we set Taiwan enterprises’ FDI in the economic zone on the west coast of the Taiwan strait in Mainland China to be dependent variables and the Taiwan enterprises’ characteristics in operation to be independent variable. We use multiple regression analysis to examine the relationship between dependent variables and independent variable. We find the scale and experiences of the enterprises influence the Taiwan enterprises’ FDI of the region；the 5th industries of the region are the Electrics, Commercial and Transportation, Plastics, Food and Textile industries.
In the subject 3, we set the location choices of Taiwan enterprises in the region（Xiamen or not） to be dependent variables and the Taiwan enterprises’ characteristics in operation to be independent variable. We find that at present, most Taiwan enterprises of sole proprietorship and larger scale invest in Xiamen city. The main industries in Xiamen city are the Electrics, Commercial and Transportation, and Textile industries.
