Burring surgery is widely used in orthopedic, oral and maxillofacial, and ENT departments to delicately cut or polish bone and joint. This article presents volume manipulation algorithms to represent tissue burring and reconstruct tissue isosurfcace corresponding the burred surface. A complicated spinal surgery illustrates the practicality and versatility of the proposed method.
