警察家庭父親工作壓力、角色衝突與父職參與之研究

摘要

本研究旨在探討警察家庭父親個人背景、工作壓力、角色衝突與父職參與現況，瞭解不同個人背景的警察父親在父職參與的差異情形，和個人背景、工作壓力、角色衝突與父職參與之相關情形，以及工作壓力對角色衝突的預測力，最後探討警察父親個人背景、工作壓力、角色衝突對父職參與之預測力。本研究採用「問卷調查法」進行資料蒐集，研究工具包含「工作壓力量表」、「角色衝突量表」、「父職參與量表」及「個人基本資料」四個部分。本研究針對台北市地區各分局管轄派出所的外勤警察為研究對象作問卷發放，共計回收有效問卷277份。研究結果如下：
一、警察父親整體工作壓力感受偏高，尤其以「工作負荷感」、「工作時間」、「工作上與關係」等面向壓力較高。
二、「工作」對「家庭」角色造成之影響使警察父親均有偏高的角色衝突。
三、警察父親在父職各面向上趨向為選擇性的參與，在「養家與示範」、「日常照顧」面向參與程度較高；在「關懷與陪伴」及「能力發展」等面向參與程度較少。
四、警察父親的子女數與父職參與部分面向有顯著相關。
五、警察父親工作壓力與父職參與「關懷與陪伴」、「能力發展」面向呈現顯著負相關。
六、警察父親「角色衝突」與父職參與「關懷與陪伴」、「能力發展」、「整體父職參與」有顯著負相關。
七、警察父親工作壓力對其角色衝突感受有顯著預測力。
八、警察父親「個人背景」對父職參與未達顯著預測，而「工作壓力」及「角色衝突」對父職參與部分面向有顯著預測力。
九、投入所有預測變項後，「子女數」、「角色衝突」對父職參與有顯著預測力。
最後依據研究結果歸納出之結論，針對警政相關單位、警察父親及未來研究提出相關建議。

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects on father involvement, which varies the consequence either from work stress and role conflict. The data are collected from 277 police fathers on field duty in Taipei city, who have adolescent children. The research is carried out by questionnaires: “Work Stress Questionnaires ”, “Role Conflict Questionnaires ”, “Father Involvement Questionnaires ”and “Personal Basic Data”. The findings of the study are presented as follows:
1. Work stresses to police father tends to be higher, especially from “work-load” , ”work hour” and “the relationship with their supervisor ”.
2. The impacts of “working role” on police father highly cause conflict to ”family role” .
3. Police fathers frequently involve in “breadwinner and demonstration” and “daily attention” more than “solicitude and escort” and “capability development”.
4. There is significant correlation between police father’s amount of children and “solicitude and escort” , “capability development” and “the whole father involvement” .
5. “Work stresses” are negatively related to “solicitude and escort” and “capability development” to police fathers.
6. Police father’s “role conflict” is negatively related to “solicitude and es-cort” ,“capability development” and “the whole father involvement”.
7. “Work stresses” bring significant predictability to their “role conflict”.
8. “work stresses” and “role conflict” have significant predictability to part dimension of father involvement.
9.After considering all variables, “the amount of children ” and “role con-flict” have significant predictability to father involvement.
Finally, according to the results, this study provide some suggestions for police fathers , police ministry, family educators and future research.
