Over the past decade the field of organizational behavior has experienced a dramatic change in thinking about workplace emotions that affects attitudes, and behavior. This research is intended to study the relationships among emotional intelligence, attitudes, and behaviors. The causal relationship among the three psychological episodes is linked by the structural equation modeling which is a legitimate and logical statistical technique to be used in social and behavioral sciences researches. Employees’ outcome behaviors are measured by organizational commitment. Random selection of a sample of one hundred (267) from Chunghwa Telecom Company participated in this study. The results indicate that emotional intelligence (EI) had strong inclination to affect the company employees, and , as a result, attitude also affected employees commitment to the company. The findings suggest that management authorities should pay close attention to employee emotional management. Employees’ healthy emotional behavior will surely have positive effects on their commitment to the organization.
