臺灣宅配業營業所經營績效之研究

摘要


隨著智慧科技在21世紀蓬勃發展尤其是COVID-19疫情在2020年對全球消費影響甚劇,隨著國人消費習慣與行為改變,這時物流宅配產業的配送正是電商交易完成的最後一步。本研究以國內某大型物流宅配業者為研究對象,以場站坪數、人員、油耗與車輛為投入項,集貨與配送件數為產出項,以資料包絡法(Data Envelopment Analysis, DEA)方法衡量營業所2018年至2020年的經營效率作為營業所調整資源分配與策略的參考,研究發現2018年的平均效率為0.743,共有6個營業所效率值為1,北部因月台空間有限、市中心土地取得不易且貨件成長快速,站所的拓展使效率值逐步下降,到2020年平均效率值為0.67,只有3個營業所有效率。以三重、蘆洲、北投與深坑營業所為例,站所擴展對被切割區域的營業所的效率皆逐漸下降。並以迴歸分析影響效率的關鍵變數,結果發現營業所維修費愈少與發送筆數佔到著筆數比例高者經營效率較好。

The rapid advance in smart technology in the 21st century, coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, have drastically altered consumer behavior worldwide. Following the change in purchasing habit and behavior of Taiwanese people, the delivery of goods undertaken by the logistics industry is the last step before the completion of an e-commerce transaction. This study investigated the business efficiency of one of Taiwan’s major home delivery operators from 2018 to 2020 to assist the operator in resource redistribution and strategy development. Data envelopment analysis was performed with service-point size, employees, fuel consumption, and vehicles of the operator as inputs and the numbers of received and delivered parcels as outputs. The results indicated that the business efficiency of the operator’s stations in 2018 averaged 0.743, with 6 service points attaining the value of 1. In northern Taiwan, factors such as limited platform space, difficult land acquisition, rapid business growth, and increase of service points caused business efficiency to progressively drop. By 2020, average business efficiency dropped to 0.67, and only 3 service points were rated as being efficient. Taking the service points in Sanchong, Luzhou, Beitou, and Shenkeng for example, their business efficiency all dropped because they had to give up part of their territory to newly-established service points. Additionally, a regression analysis was conducted, and its results suggested that services points showing favorable business efficiency all had low maintenance expenses and high receive/deliver ratios.
