Ameloblastic fibro-odontoma is a tumor of mixed odontogenic origin infrequently encountered within the jaw. It occurs predominantly in children and the youth. The tumor is usually asymptomatic and slow-growing. The mandibular body-ramus area is the favored location. Radiographically, the lesion is well circumscribed and radiopaque. Herein we reported a case of mandibular ameloblastic fibro-odontoma in a 12-year-old boy. Complete extirpation of the rumor was performed via an extraoral approach. Histologically, the tumor was composed of a myxoid connective tissue with strands of odontogenic epithelium and differentiated tissue such as enamel and dentin. Wound healing was uneventful with no evidence of recurrence after a nine-month period of follow-up.
