桃竹苗地區特殊教育教師對於性別平等教育課程執行情形及教學需求之研究

The Study of the Implementation and Teaching Needs of Gender Equality Education Curriculum for Special Education Teachers in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Areas

摘要


本研究旨在針對桃園、新竹、苗栗地區國小、國中、高中職之資源班、特教班及啟智/特殊教育學校842位特殊教育教師進行問卷調查,並針對21位特殊教育教師進行訪談,藉此分析特殊教育教師性別平等教育課程執行情形及其教學需求。本研究採取問卷調查及半結構式訪談等兩種研究方法,量的統計分析,分別採平均數、標準差、百分比、排序等方式進行資料分析,在質的方面,依研究主題加以編碼,並以恆常比較法進行資料異同之間的比較分析。本研究結果得知:(1)92.1%的特殊教育教師表示支持對自己任教班級學生實施性別平等教育;(2)29%特殊教育教師及六位受訪特殊教育教師認為應從啟蒙的學前教育階段開始實施性別平等教育;(3)教師需要校外支援方面,91.7%參與研究的特殊教育教師優先勾選需要「由相關課程研發單位,編製一系列課程教材」;(4)資源需求方面,93.1%特殊教育教師優先勾選「由相關課程研發單位編製一系列課程教材」之資源需求;(5)研習內容方面,84.9%特殊教育教師優先勾選「性別平等教育教材教法」之研習核心內容;(6)受訪21位特殊教育教師均希冀相關學術單位編製一套性別平等教育課程。兩位研究者依據研究結論,針對學術相關單位及未來研究提出具體建議。

This study investigated the current situation of implementation and teaching needs for teachers of gender equality education curriculum in primary schools, secondary schools, vocational high schools with special education classes, resource classes, and special education schools for mental retardation in Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli areas. Eight hundred forty two questionnaires were collected and 21 teachers were interviewed. Questionnaires and semi-structural interviews were the research methods in this study. Mean, standard deviation, percentage, and rank were used for documental analysis. Coding with topic and constant comparison method were used for qualitative analysis. The results of this study were: (1) 92.1% special education teachers agreed to implement gender equality education; (2) 29% special education teachers and 6 interviewed special education teachers agreed that gender equality education should be implemented in kindergarten, beginning stage of learning; (3) 91.7% teachers chose to design a series of curriculum from ”related curriculum development unit” as the priority; (4) 93.1% special education teachers chose ”a series of curriculum from ”related curriculum development unit”; (5) 84.9% special education teachers chose ”gender equality education teaching materials and methods” as the study core contents; (6) all 21 interviewed special education teachers hoped a series of gender equality education curriculum to be designed by related researcher unit. Two suggestions to academic units and future studies based on the results of this study were provided.
