不同服務年資語言治療師之專業繼續教育學習方式需求現況

Some Aspects of Learning Methods of Professional Need in Different Service Years of Speech Therapists

摘要


本研究旨在探討不同服務年資之語言治療師對於參與專業繼續教育學習方式的現況,本研究採用自編製問卷調查,選定登記爲台灣聽力語言學會會員之語言治療師爲研究對象。共計回收159 份有效樣本,回收率爲73.95%,問卷施測時間爲99年1月10日。 本研究結果發現如下: 1.研究結果發現159位語言治療師中,服務年資以「1至3年」者佔居多(26.4%);其次爲「4至6年」(24.5%);再者爲「7至9年」,(佔,18.2%) 2.語言治療師之主要服務場域以醫院爲多,佔83.0%。 3.語言治療師近6個月參與研習課程爲1-3次;費用以全部自費者爲主,佔半數以上(65.4%)。 4.語言治療師參與繼續教育需求類型依序爲「語言專業課程研習會」、「語言治療專題、個案演講討論會」及「證照考詴課程研習」。 5.語言治療師專業繼續教育學習方式會因服務年資不同而有顯著差異。 本研究之建議如下: 1.語言治療師應瞭解自我生涯發展,規劃符合自己專業繼續教育的學習方式。 2.在職進修課程可進行分級,以利不同服務年資語言治療師選擇

This research discussed the learning methods of professional need in different service years of speech therapists. This research adapted the self-developed ”Questionnaire for the Continuing Educational Needs and Professional Growth of the Speech Therapists” and conducted the survey. We selected the speech therapists who are registered members of the Taiwan- Hearing-Language-Association as our research target. There were 159 valid questionnaires with the return rate of 73.95%. The questionnaire survey was conducted on January 10, 2010. The research showed the following results: 1. The 159 speech therapists of service Years to ”1 to 3 years” accounted for the majority (26.4%); followed by ”4-6 years” (24.5%); addition to ”7-9 years”, (total, 18.2%) 2. The majority of service locations for speech therapists are hospitals, which is accounted for 83.0%. 3. Speech therapists participation 1 to 3 seminars in the past 6 months, and more than half the covered their own expense (65.4%) 4. The categories of Continuing Educational Needs that these speech therapists participated were ”Professional Speech Course Workshop”, ”Speech Therapy Topics and Case Study Presentation and Discussion”, and ”License Exam Curriculum Studies”. 5. The Learning Methods of Professional Need of speech therapists would significant difference their Service Years. The research suggested the following recommendations: 1. The speech therapists should understand their own career development, and plan Learning Methods activities to meet their needs. 2. We should focus more on the different Continuing Educational from speech therapists with different Service Years experience, and organize the courses into various levels in order to advance of speech therapist.
