From the perspective of an organizer of the labor movement, I will, in this article, through observation of some sectors of the labor movement in action, help the readers understand the labor movement as a resistance movement and its role in the political democratization and social movement in Taiwan. It will discuss the advocacy of various ideas and values as well as the strategies, achievements and predicament. This article especially will describe how, given the limited resources, the labor movement use writings and documents to carry on the experiences and make alliances with other progressive social forces into a ”grass-root professional” coalition, the purpose of which is to break out of the encirclements and advance with creative ideas and actions.
