電腦圖書數位化可行性研究

為了解電腦圖書紙本與數位化閱讀介面對讀者與電子書市場的影響，本研究針對電腦圖書讀者進行網路問卷調查，希望瞭解讀者對於電腦圖書的閱讀時間、載體、介面設計及價格的看法。本研究發現「電子書」是讀者所期望的電腦圖書首要出版載體。紙本電腦圖書雖然為目前主要出版型式，但是於未來進行數位化之可行性頗高。本研究結果顯示，現階段電腦圖書出版可行性方式為紙本與電子書同步方式進行，數位化則可運用POD(Print on demand)隨需印刷機制及網路線上即時出版，既可落實環保概念，亦可達到節省紙張及印刷成本的目的；並可建立電腦圖書出版零庫存之管理概念，及讓內文之修訂、勘誤及改版的工作更為迅速。亦可作為E-learning教材及數位化網路連結之基礎，提升未來電腦軟體學習之同步與非同步的數位教學效益。
