Economic education is an important part of business education. Economics is an essential subject for students at business department. However, in our technological and vocational education system, economics lecture in colleges overlaps many parts of economics in high schools. In order to avoid overlapping learning, this study utilized ”cognitive flexibility theory” to research and it aimed at transforming traditional economics textbook into a new concept, ”economic man”. The researchers found that the new text materials is feasible for students and its result is significant positive. The researchers also recommended that relative economic education colleagues could adopt this new teaching method to improve the learning of students at technological and vocational colleges.
