本研究採質性研究方法,探討一位私立國中校長的領導行為。目的在瞭解楊校長(化名)是如何領導校園、型塑校園的樣貌及過程中行為。在研究期間,研究者以非參與觀察、訪談、文件檔案及省思手札等方法蒐集資料,主要發現為:楊校長個人的領導行為為注重時間管理、工作執行要求、學生生活教育、員工的增能賦權、訂定實施計劃、扁平溝通及以身作則。在物理環境方面,重視環境的美觀整潔並積極維持及倡導、對外爭取校園軟硬體的設備充實。在人事行政上,重視分權負責、福利津貼爭取、績效制度建立及落實,來穩定和凝聚教職員的向心力。在整體課程與教學領導方面,貢獻個人的專業外,倡導及落實語文能力的提昇、聘請專長教師於音樂、才藝及社團的指導。 整體而言,楊校長的領導特質展現於校園經營為:於事前加以計劃,對活動掌握其目的與價值,透過高倡導及高關懷策略、組織扁平溝通、文件追蹤、手稿或是口語交待方式,傳達宣導領導理念。管理實施方面,有定期學生作業抽查及語文測驗、體能測驗、社團才藝推動、虛擬校園評鑑及教師平日績效考核等,透過持續性的進行、考核而展現出校長領導的執行力。
The purpose of this study was to explore the principal’s leadership behavior of a junior high school. The study was to research the principal’s leading process of shaping the campus. The research methods are participant observation, interview, secondarily document analysis, and reflection note. Be based on the results, the conclusions of this study were as follows: The characters of the principal’s leadership were: emphasizing time management, requesting the work execution, the students’ conventions, the empowerment of the staffs, planning programs, the flat communication and setting a good example with her own conduct. In a word, the principal’s leadership behavior was: plan first. Try everything possible to fulfill the goals. Some suggestions were provided in this study for further research to refer to.
