初級日語教科書之分析~以大同大學日文組自編之日語教材為例

The Analyses of the Basic Japanese Textbooks Used by Tatung University Students

摘要


近年來,隨著日語學習人數的激增,坊間的日語學習教材也有如雨後春筍般的增加。如何根據學習者的需求而選用適合的教科書,對日語教師而言,是相當重要的課題,因此,教師本身對日語教科書內容的理解應是不可缺少的。為了因應本校學習者參加日語能力測驗的需求,筆者將針對本組自編的教科書『理・工学部のための日本語Ⅰ、Ⅱ』進行語彙及句型方面調查,考察其中符合日語能力測驗3級之語彙及句型數量,以清楚了解本套教科書在質與量上是否能應付日語能力測驗3級之程度。從考察結果得知:第一、在語彙的「招呼語」部分,兩冊教科書共計有18個是在3級程度範圍內,佔56.25%。第二、在總語彙量方面,兩冊教科書共計645個語彙符合3級程度,與『出題基準』3級總語彙量的1532個相較,其比例只佔42.10%,未達3級語彙量之一半。第三、在句型量方面,兩冊合計有196個句型是屬3級程度範圍內,與『出題基準』3級句型數的257個相較,比例達76.26%。因此,本組自編教科書在3級語彙量上有較明顯之不足,在指導學生參加3級日語能力測驗時,應留意不足語彙之補充。

With the increasing population of Japanese learners, the teaching and learning materials on the Japanese language have mushroomed on the publishing market. Therefore, it's a rather essential task for Japanese teachers to select the appropriate textbooks to cope with the various needs from different learners. In order to prepare students of this school to take the third level Japanese Language Proficient Test (JLPT), the author conducted a survey on the numbers of the vocabulary and sentence patterns in the textbooks, Japanese I & II for Engineering Students, co-written by the Japanese teachers of this school, to check if these two textbooks can actually equip students, qualitatively and quantitatively, to pass the test. We found from the survey results, firstly, these two textbooks contain 56.25% of the vocabulary, 18 altogether, within the 3^rd level JLPT range; secondly, only 42.10% of the lexical items, totaled 645 entries, are included in the two textbooks, which failed to reach at least half of the total entries of the 3rd-level-JLPT test content specifications; finally, 76.26% of the sentence patterns, totaled 196 entries, are covered in these two textbooks. The survey results indicate the insufficient entries of the lexical items in these two textbooks and suggest that teachers pay their very attention to enhancing students' lexicon knowledge when instructing them for taking the 3rd level JLPT.
