桃園縣高中職教師情緒智力與幸福感關係之研究

A Study on Relationship between Senior and Vocational High School Teachers' Emotional Intelligence and Well- being in Taoyuan County

摘要


摘 要 本研究旨在瞭解不同背景變項之桃園縣高中職教師在情緒智力和幸福感的差異性,並且探討不同教師情緒智力在幸福感上的關聯性及預測情形。本研究以「教師情緒智力問卷」、「教師幸福感問卷」為研究工具。透過分區抽樣得到490 位有效樣本。所得資料經描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關、典型相關以及逐步多元迴歸進行分析,並歸納出以下 結論: 1 桃園縣高中職教師情緒智力之現況屬「中上」程度,各層面中以「情緒調適」得分為最高,而「情緒覺察」得分為最低。 2 桃園縣高中職教師幸福感之現況屬「中上」程度,各層面中以「人際關係」得分為最高,「身心健康」得分為最低。 3 不同年齡在教師情緒智力部份層面上,具顯著差異。 4 不同性別在幸福感部分層面和整體上具顯著差異,不同年齡、服務年資和學校屬性之教師在幸福感部分層面上具顯著差異。 5 教師情緒智力與幸福感關係呈顯著正相關,以情緒智力之「情緒調適」與幸福感之「人際關係」最相關。 6 教師情緒智力對幸福感具預測力,以「情緒調適」為主要預測因素。 依據研究結果與結論,提出數項建議,供教育相關單位與人員及未來研究者之參考。

Abstract The main purposes of this study were to examine the different emotional intelligence and well-being of senior and vocational high school teachers in Taoyuan County among diverse backgrounds, and to identify the relationship of teachers’ emotional intelligence and well-being. This study employed “Questionnaire of Teacher’s Emotional Intelligence” and “Questionnaire of Teacher’s Well-Being” for data collection. As a result of stratified random sampling by administrative division, there were 490 valid samples for this study. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, T Test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson porduct-moment correlation, canonical correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis.The conclusions of the study were as follows: 1. The current situation of senior and vocational high school teachers’ emotional intelligence in Taoyan County was above average, the highest dimension is ”emotion adjustment ”;the lowest one is “emotion recognition.” 2. The current situation of senior and vocational high school teachers’ well-being in Taoyan County was above average, the highest dimension is ”relationship ”;the lowest one is “health.” 3. Age indeed caused a significant difference in the level of emotional intelligence but had no significant difference in the overall emotional intelligence. 4. Gender plays a significant role in the level and overall well-being. Age, seniority and type of school had a significant difference in the level of well-being. 5. There were significantly positive correlations between teachers’ emotional intelligence and well-being, especially the dimention ”emotion ajustment ” and “relationship”. 6. Teachers’ emotional intelligence can significantly forecast the teachers’ overall well-being, especially the dimention ”emotion adjustment ” According to the results and conclusions of this study, some suggestions were offered as references for the members in the educational correlated organizations and studies in the future.
