本研究旨在探討新竹地區國民中學教師工作價值觀與專業承諾的現況,並分析國民中學教師工作價值觀與專業承諾之間的相關性,以及教師工作價值觀對專業承諾的預測力。 本研究採問卷調查法,使用工具為「國民中學教師工作價值觀與專業承諾關係之調查問卷-以新竹地區為例」。以新竹地區公立國民中學教師為母群體進行調查,共發出759份,其中有效問卷為720份,有效回收率達94.86%。根據所蒐集的資料,以t考驗、單因子變異數分析、Pearson 積差相關、典型相關及多元逐步迴歸等統計方法進行分析。研究結果分述如下: 一、新竹地區國民中學教師工作價值觀的現況重視程度高。 二、新竹地區國民中學教師專業承諾的現況屬於中上程度。 三、不同性別及學校所在地之新竹地區國中教師對教師工作價值觀的重視程度有顯著差異。 四、不同性別、婚姻狀況、服務年資、兼任職務及學校所在地五個不同背景變項之新竹地區國中教師對教師專業承諾有顯著差異。 五、新竹地區國中教師工作價值觀與專業承諾具有顯著正相關。 六、新竹地區國中教師工作價值觀各層面中以「社會肯定」對整體專業承諾最具預測效果。 根據上述研究結果提出具體建議,以供教育行政機關、學校、國中教師與未來研究者之參考。
The purpose of this study is to explore the current situation of junior high school teachers’ work value and professional commitment and the relationship between them. The methodology of this research was mainly a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was “The relationship between junior high school teachers’ work value and professional commitment questionnaire in Hsinchu Area”. There were 720 effective returned questionnaires and 94.86% effective returned rate from 759 public junior high school teachers in Hsinchu Area, Taiwan. The researcher analyzed the survey data by various statistical methods such as: t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, Canonical correlation analysis and Multiple stepwise regression analysis. The research draws the following conclusions: 1.The junior high school teachers in Hsinchu Area scored high in work value. 2.The junior high school teachers in Hsinchu Area scored above average in professional commitment. 3.The junior high school teachers in Hsinchu Area with different background variables of “Gender” and “School Region” significantly differ in teachers’ work value. 4.The junior school teachers in Hsinchu Area with different background variables of “Gender”,“Marital Status”, “Years of Service”, “Position” and “School Region” significantly differ in professional commitment. 5.There is a significant positive correlation between junior school teachers’ work value and professional commitment in Hsinchu Area. 6.Among those servant work value factors, total professional commitment can be predicted by “Social Recognition” most. Finally, based on the conclusions above, suggestions are given to educational administration institutions, schools, junior high school teachers and researchers.
