THE POSITIVE MODERATING EFFECT OF COVID-19 ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GRADUATES QUALITY AND EMPLOYMENT QUALITY

Under the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the overall job supply in the market shrinks, and due to the impact of the squeezing effect, the improvement of the employment quality of graduates is constrained. Therefore, how to adapt to the development needs of the new era, overcome the negative impact of COVID-19 factors, and help improving the employment quality of graduates is an important issue facing all sectors of society. Therefore, this paper uses multiple regression analysis to explore the impact of learning ability and practical ability on the employment quality of graduates, as well as the role of the COVID-19 epidemic in the relationship. The results show that the comprehensive quality of learning ability and practical ability of two dimensions play a role in promoting the employment quality of graduates. Moreover, the COVID-19 epidemic plays a moderating role in the relationship between comprehensive quality and employment quality. And compared with the normal epidemic period, the positive relationship between graduates comprehensive quality and employment quality is the strongest at the beginning of the epidemic. The conclusion has a certain theoretical contribution to clarifying the influencing mechanism among the comprehensive quality of graduates, the COVID-19 epidemic and the employment quality, and also has certain practical implications for improving the employment quality of graduates.
