本研究旨在探討臺灣中部地區公立國民小學校長文化領導與學校效能之關係。本研究採問卷調查法,以臺中市、彰化縣與南投縣公立國民小學之現職教師為對象,共抽取94所學校的教師750人,進行調查。所得589份有效樣本資料,採描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關以及逐步多元迴歸分析等方法進行分析。研究發現:國民小學教師知覺校長文化領導現況和學校效能現況均為中上程度;國民小學教師在校長文化領導各層面與整體上的知覺,會因校長任職本校年資的不同而有差異,而在學校效能各層面與整體上的知覺,會因年齡、年資、學校規模、校長任職本校年資的不同而有差異;國民小學校長文化領導與學校效能具有高度正相關,國民小學校長文化領導對學校效能具有預測力。本研究據此提出數點建議,以供教育行政主管機關和國民小學校長參考。
The purpose of this study is to explore the relationships between principal cultural leadership and school effectiveness in elementary schools in central Taiwan. The foci include the status, the differences of teacher perception in terms of different background, the correlation, and the prediction of principal cultural leadership and school effectiveness. Questionnaire survey was adopted in this study. The subjects were sampling from teachers of public elementary schools in Taichung City, Changhua County and Nantou County. 750 samples from 94 schools were surveyed. Data from 589 usable samples were analyzed with statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. The current status of teacher perception toward principal cultural leadership in elementary schools is above average. 2. The current status of teacher perception toward school effectiveness in elementary schools is above average. 3. There are significant differences on principal cultural leadership in elementary schools in terms of the seniority of the principal in this school. 4. There are significant differences on principal cultural leadership in elementary schools in terms of the age, seniority, school size and the principal seniority in this school. 5. There is highly positive correlation between principal cultural leadership and school effectiveness. 6. The principal cultural leadership variables can significantly predict school effectiveness.
