本研究聚焦在李德裕(字文饒,號衛公,787-849)詩的兩大「地方」主題:京畿臺閣翰林與東都平泉園林。本文將李德裕在多次進退朝野,二度拜相居宰的生命歷程分為兩個各有倚重的分期。前期的重點在於自長安外放帝國南方後,李德裕如何在心靈層面緬懷以具備親密感的翰林臺閣之昔人、舊事及故物,用以舒暢個人情懷;後期的重點則是浸淫當代私人園林風氣下,他如何出於己意而營構措置園林物件,堆砌屬於自己的私人天地。當他安排調度石翫嘉木花草,展示其官守帝國他鄉之標記,不啻將生命史的刻痕凝縮在私人天地。於是,宦遊各地而不斷凸顯的追憶現象,便揭露李德裕心靈倚重的重心由翰林轉為園林。此追憶歷程的轉變正是託居平泉莊的安居意識逐漸彰顯,也是本研究欲處理的李德裕畢生追求名不朽的心態如何提煉與昇華:由揚名臺閣轉變至託隱園林。也就是說,李德裕託居平泉莊的場所意識,促使平泉莊成為歷代士人嚮往兼顧仕隱的一種典式。當李德裕隨時間而日益將心理倚重的寄託自臺閣翰林過渡至平泉園林,後者便成為李德裕立足園林詩學脈絡底下的重要價值:以懷歸平泉作為其文學永恆的指涉。
This study focuses on the two main “place” themes of Li De-Yu’s poetry: the Hanlin Academy of Imperial Ministry in Jingji 京畿 and Pingquan Garden in Dongdu 東都. This thesis divides the life of Li De-yu, the two-time prime minister who went through numerous up and downs throughout his career, into two stages. In the early stage, after being ousted from Chang An 長安 to the south of Tang Empire, Li’s poetry clearly captures the sense of nostalgia he has with the Gyeonggi Imperial Ministry through describing his old friends, memories and objects within. In the later stage, Li’s poetry depicts how he creates his private garden under his own will; through his arrangement of stones, trees, and flowers, Li’s garden becomes a chronicle of his stay in the south and a certain condensation of his life. Thus, the recalling in Li’s poetry about his officer’s life around the Tang Empire surly reveals the transition of his mental state from emphasizing the Imperial Ministry to the gardens of the South. In other words, this thesis demonstrates how Li De-yu’s lifelong pursuit of fame and prestige condensed and crystalized into his wisdom of being disillusioned by earthly titles. Li De-yu remoulded Pingquan garden into a typical symbol which succeeding literati in later dynasties aspire to encompass.
