高中圖書館利用教育課程規劃之研究

摘要


摘要 本研究旨在探討高中圖書館利用教育實施現況、圖書館利用教育課程規劃模式、圖書館利用教育師資進修需求以及不同背景變項的高中圖書館主任在圖書館利用教育課程規劃模式與師資進修需求之差異情形。再根據問卷調查結果,提出結論,並研擬出圖書館利用教育課程綱要,俾供規劃高中圖書館利用教育的參考。 本研究以全國295所高中圖書館主任為研究對象,採用問卷調查法,以研究者自編之「高中圖書館利用教育課程規劃調查問卷」進行調查,並利用SPSS統計套裝軟體進行資料分析,所應用的統計方法包括次數分配、百分比、卡方考驗、t檢定、單因子變異數分析等。 根據文獻探討及問卷調查,獲致下列之結論: 一、高中圖書館利用教育實施現況。 高中圖書館利用教育,實施對象以高一學生為主,大多利用新生訓練 之時,次數則以每年一次居多,由圖書館人員負責規劃,內容主題多樣且重視新科技媒體發展趨勢。 近半數(42.3﹪)的圖書館未實施評鑑活動,開設圖書館利用教育選修課程的學校僅佔2.5﹪,至於與學科結合,則以國文、歷史、地理三科居多。時間不易安排,是目前推行圖書館利用教育最困難的關鍵,因此首要解決的問題,是時間安排及課程實施。 全國高中圖書館主任遴聘仍有多校未符合法令規定。而高中圖書館利用教育師資進修需求,以新科技發展的內容最為殷切。 二、高中圖書館利用教育課程規劃模式。 1.列入正式選修課程。 2.一星期安排一小時為宜。 3.圖書館主任最適合擔任課程教學。 4.圖書館是最理想上課地點。 5.「如何撰寫小論文」及「如何研擬讀書計畫、研究計畫」課程單元以二小時為宜,其他大多數課程單元以一小時為宜。 6. 「如何撰寫小論文」、「如何研擬讀書計畫、研究計畫」及「如何準備多元入學」三個課程單元在二年級實施為宜,其他大多數課程單元在一年級實施為宜。 7.配合大學多元入學、支援教學需求、資訊素養培育、培養關鍵能力等 不同需求,應實施不同的圖書館利用教育課程單元,其中以「如何利用圖書館」、「如何找到資料」最為重要。 8.最能達成實施成效的方式為新生圖書館之旅、新生始業輔導介紹圖書館概況、開設圖書館利用教育指導課程、與學科課程結合等四項。 9.課程目標以培養學生終身學習習慣及增進學生自我學習能力為主。 10.不同背景變項高中圖書館主任在圖書館利用教育課程規劃模式與師資進修需求的看法有差異。 最後根據本研究結論,對教育行政機關、學校、圖書館及教師提出建議。

Abstract The purpose of this research is to study the library instruction in senior high schools. The aspects of the study include the current situation, the curriculum planning, the teachers’ learning needs, and if there are differences about the curriculum planning and the teachers’ learning needs among Directors of senior high school libraries. Referring to plan library instruction, the researcher uses the results of the survey to provide some suggestions and draw a curriculum outline of library instruction. This research samples all 295 Directors of senior high school libraries in Taiwan. The method used to collect data is having a questionnaire to fill out. The researcher edited it into "A questionnaire on the curriculum planning of library instruction in senior high schools." SPSS is used for data analysis, and frequency, percentage, Kai-square, t-test and one way ANOVA are included. The following conclusion is drawn from the literature study and the result of the questionnaire: 1.The current situation of library instruction in senior high schools The first-year students in senior high schools are the major subjects. The staff is responsible for planning the courses. Most schools provide an orientation for new students. Most schools provide library instruction once a year.The contents of these courses are really diverse and emphasize on the development trend of new technologies and media. About 42.3﹪of senior high school libraries don’t carry out evaluation of library instruction . And only 2.5﹪of senior high school libraries have the arrangement of fixed courses. Chinese, History, and Geography are the instructional courses that integrate with library instruction most often. The major obstacle for library instruction is the difficulty in arranging teaching time. Arranging teaching time and formal courses are the greatest needs at present. Many of the schools don’t follow the law to employ Directors of senior high school libraries. Information on the development of new technologies should be included in all courses of library instruction to meet the teachers’ learning needs. 2.Suggestions for the curriculum planning of library instruction in senior high schools (1)Library instruction in senior high schools should have formal courses. (2)The proper time should be an hour a week. (3)Directors of senior high school libraries should be instructor of such a course. (4)Library is a proper place to teach. (5)Most of the courses are best to be scheduled in one period. While "How To Write The Essay" and "How To Draw Up The Reading And Studying Plan" are best to be scheduled in two periods. (6)Most of the courses should be taught in the first school year. While "How To Write The Essay","How To Draw Up The Reading And Studying Plan" and "How To Prepare The College Multiple Entrance New Policy" should be taught in the second school year. (7)The curriculum should implement different courses of library instruction to meet different needs of school educational goals. And the most important courses are "How To Utilize The Library"and "How To Find The Data". (8)The most effective types of teaching methods are "Library Tour","Library Introduction For New Students","Separate Course" and "Course-related Library instruction". (9)The goals of the courses focus mainly on cultivating the habit of life-long learning and enhancing the ability of independent learning. (10)There are differences about the curriculum planning and the teachers’ learning needs of library instruction among Directors of senior high school libraries. Based on the results of this study, some suggestions are made for ministry of education, senior high schools, senior high school libraries and the school staff.
