本研究旨在探討馬來西亞吉隆坡循人中學學生的聯課活動涉入。為達成研究目的,本研究採用問卷調查法,研究對象為吉隆坡循人中學2016年度初中一至高中三年級1219位學生;研究工具為自編的「中學生聯課活動經驗問卷」;使用描述統計分析、相依樣本單因子變異數分析、獨立樣本t考驗及獨立樣本單因子變異數分析等統計方法分析量化資料;採用歸納分析方式進行開放式問題的質性資料分析。 本研究歸納出下列九項結論: 一、循人中學學生的聯課活動涉入達中等以上程度,其中以聯課活動有吸引力最受到認同 二、女學生的聯課活動涉入程度高於男學生 三、初一學生的聯課活動涉入程度較高,初三學生的聯課活動涉入程度較低 四、演藝團體的學生在聯課活動的涉入程度較高 五、擔任社團幹部層越高的學生在聯課活動的涉入程度越高 六、學業成績並不影響學生的聯課活動涉入程度 七、多數學生喜歡參與聯課活動 八、聯課活動可產生多元的學習經驗 九、學生對聯課活動有所期待
The purpose of this study was to investigate students’ co-curricular activity involvement in Tsun Jin High School, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A total of 1219 students responded to the Questionnaire for High School Students’ Experience of Co-Curricular Activities. The quantitative survey data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t test, and one-way ANOVA. And the qualitative survey data were coded inductively to find the main themes. The quantitative results of the study showed that the students’ co-curricular activities involvement reached above average level. The “attraction” aspect of co-curricular activity involvement was being most recognized by the students. Female students’ co-curricular activity involvement level was greater than male students. Seventh graders’ involvement in co-curricular activities was greater than other graders. Students of the performance arts societies had greater involvement in co-curricular activities than students in other groups. The society cadres had greater involvement in co-curricular activities than other society members. Students’ involvement in co-curricular activities was not affected by their academic achievement. The qualitative results of the study revealed that majority of the students liked to participate in co-curricular activities. Students had multiple learning experiences resulting from participation in co-curricular activities and expressed their expectations and suggestions for their societies.
