The research purpose will focus on three aspects: (1) probing into theories which can promote self-concept in integrative art education, (2) developing a guiding course of expressive art exhibition which can promote the learner's self-concept, (3) observing the behavior phenomenon whether someone show his self-concept during a guiding course of expressive art exhibition or not . Literatures discussed in this study are self-concept theories, expressive art and integrative art curriculums. Then a guiding course for an art museum exhibition will be designed and practiced. Having completed both the theoretical and practical research, this study shows why expressive art can be regarded as important educational contents that will promote the learner's self-concept.
