Medical institutions require effective training methods for novice nurses because they have a high turnover rate. This study applied the humanoid diagram teaching strategy in novice training. The strategy enables visual learning by employing painting to visualize the patient's condition and the trial and error method, thereby integrating knowledge to recognize problems and prioritize patient care. The strategy increases nursing awareness and promotes analytical skill and care quality. This study examined the use of the humanoid diagram in training nursing novices by considering related theory, project design, and implementation. The merits and shortcomings of the strategy are discussed to improve clinical nursing and provide a reference for future studies.
