影音部落格於網路教學應用之關鍵成功因素初探

Key Success Factors for the Application of Video Blog in Web-Based Teaching

摘要


網路教學是資通訊科技時代的趨勢,本研究探討影音部落格(Video Blog, Vlog)於網路教學上的應用,以台灣中部某大學的學生爲受訪對象。本研究根據相關文獻,設計關鍵層級因素表及問卷,針對大學生及專家進行問卷調查,利用層級分析法,找出影音部落格應用於大學教學的關鍵成功因素。本研究主要發現如下:(1)受訪的大學生皆具有使用電腦網路的經驗及意圖,且普遍喜愛影音媒體的教學方式,這顯示,結合網路學習及影音媒體的影音部落格,極具教學潛力。(2)經營教學用途的影音部落格,最重要的關鍵成功因素依順序爲「教學方法」、「介面設計」、「資訊素養」三者。至於未來需要加強的規劃,依序爲「內容形式」、「網路環境」、「平台管理」及「服務介面」。本研究的結論指出,成功的網路教學系統,必須以豐富多元、設計良好的教學內容為基石,以電腦軟硬體設備及網路爲輔具,始能發揮多媒體教學的特性,滿足學習者的需求。透過教師、學生及資訊專業人員的密切配合,影音部落格可望充分發揮教學實效,提升學習興趣及效果。

Web-based learning is the trend in this age of information communication technology. This study explores the application of video blog (Vlog) to teaching. Using an unnamed university in central Taiwan as a case, this study designs a hierarchy of key success factors and two sets of questionnaires aimed respectively at students and experts. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is then employed for data analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, this study has found that most university students of this study exhibit experiences of and intentions in using computer and internet, and are generally in favor of audio-visual media teaching method. This shows that Vblog, which combines web-based learning and multimedia, has great potential for teaching. Second, this study has identified the three most important key success factors are ”Teaching Methods,” ”Interface Designs,” ”Information Literacy.” Key success factors of lesser importance in sequel are ”Content Forms,” ”Internet Environment,” ”Platform Management,” and ”Service Interface,” which will need to be strengthened in the future. Based on the results analysis, this study concludes with this suggestion: Success of web-based teaching system has to be supported by rich, plural, well-designed teaching contents, adequate computer and internet facilities, in order to bring into full play the strengths of multimedia teaching, and to meet learners' expectations. Through close collaboration among teachers, students and computer professionals, Vblog is expected to fully enhance teaching effects and learning interest.
