The World Artistic Gymnastics Championships is a very important competition event before entering Olympic Games. Purpose: This Study is to measure the performance of the Chinese Taipei Men's Gymnastics Team in the men's team preliminary rounds of 2014 and 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Methods: Through comparing the D and E values and score performances in individual results to determine whether there is any difference in the score performances for each item. The associated individual scores were obtained through the official website of 2014 and 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. The information was then confirmed with national judges and the Chinese Taipei Gymnastic Association before going through descriptive statistical analysis. Results: (1) On floor and pommel horse, D and E values were contradictory. (2) On rings and vaults, no significant score improvement was found. (3) On parallel bars, there was significant improvement in both D and E values and the overall performance of this section was the best. (4) On horizontal bar, it was the weakest performing item. It was also the only item in which D value has not reached 5.0 and the average score has not reached 13.0. Conclusions: (1) When D and E values cannot be improved simultaneously, the growth of the individual result is bound to be limited. (2) On parallel bars, the number of difficult figures has significantly increased in C and D levels and this can substantially improve D value and scores. (3) These is a big gap between Taipei team members and the international participants in horizontal bar technique, resulting in poor performance in horizontal bar and, thus, affected the final performance of the team. (4) Taking the team result into consideration, priority should be given to the stability of the whole set of movement and the completeness of technique. Shortfall should be avoided to minimize the deductive E value to get the most favorable individual scores and team total score.
