摘要


客製化產品的動態VR模型可以讓顧客及企業利用互動的3D環境來檢視產品客製化的想法,降低彼此溝通上可能造成的錯誤。過去很多研究提出以網路為基礎的系統架構來支援動態VRML檔案的組裝與視覺顯示,但這些研究都沒有考慮組成VRML模型元件的細節,也沒有考慮這些VRML模型元件組合時的條件與限制。本研究首先討論以VRML為基礎的虛擬產品組成元件,並討論客製化產品的通用BOM結構及對應的VR模型樣板,利用VR模型樣版組成元件的不同組合方式,我們可定義不同種類的動態產品VR模型管理,最後我們討論這些動態虛擬產品資料管理如何支援顧客與企業在產品客製化過程中各階段的討論過程。

Dynamically-generated virtual reality (VR) model of customized products allow customers and companies to examine product customization ideas in an interactive, 3D environment, and hence greatly reduce possible communication errors. Recently many researches have proposed Web-based systems that support dynamic VRML file generation and visualization. These researches, however, do not consider the detailed composing elements of the VRML model. Neither do they consider the conditions and constraints to assemble these elements. This paper first discusses the detailed composing elements of a VRML-based virtual product. Then the generic BOM of a customizable product and its associated VR model template are presented. Different types of dynamic VR model generation strategies that modify the composing elements of the VR model template in different ways are proposed. Finally, the roles of these dynamic VR model generation strategies in supporting communication between customers companies at different product customization stages are discussed.
