流程電子化與提升軟體開發績效關聯性之實證研究--以X公司軟體開發流程電子化管理為例

摘要

二十世紀中葉軟體產業從零開始起步，在短短五十餘年的時間裏迅速發展成為推動人類社會發展的龍頭產業，軟體對人類社會越來越形重要，然軟體的生產力問題，儘管軟體工程30多年來的發展碩果累累，「軟體危機」卻仍然未被徹底解決，至今還提不出一套管理軟體發展的指導原則。

本研究即在於，依照著名的管理學者Peter Keen在極速流程一書中的看法，將其所謂「流程優勢」應用在軟體開發流程電子化方面，使軟體開發過程中如何能將規劃與設計作業，建立在充分電子化的流程之上，實作一套「軟體開發流程電子化」的應用模式，以具體實現軟體開發電子化流程管理。本研究再以企業個案在實施軟體開發流程電子化實施後的結果進行調研，並以調研的結論進一步推證「軟體開發流程電子化」對於「提升軟體開發績效」的影響。其結果發現軟體開發績效與流程電子化方法、流程問題管理與軟體工程方法具有顯著相關；干擾變數—人員基本資料變項與軟體開發專案背景因素對「軟體開發管理因素」、「CMMI軟體開發成熟度整合模式評量」則無顯著差異。根據研究分析結果，本研究實證了只要管理好軟體開發管理因素，軟體開發亦會有良好績效，流程電子化是可行的，並有助於軟體開發績效，軟體開發績效取決於流程電子化方法、流程問題管理與軟體工程方法，且不受人員基本資料變項與軟體開發專案背景因素所影響。期望據此研究結論並說明研究限制及建議，能提供企業資訊部門或軟體業界建置較佳的軟體開發流程電子化系統，增進軟體開發效益，強化企業競爭力。

Software industry developed from the middle of the twenty-century has been quickly pushing the human social development and sooner become one of the leading industry in the 21 century. As software becomes more and more important for the human society, software engineering has not yet been successful, as the software crisis is always existent. Moreover, it has been short of instruction guideline for electronicialing the development of software systems.
The purpose of this research is based on the famous management concepts（The eProcess Edge, Peter Keen 2001）, which applies the process edge onto the electronic work process；to create an electronic work process application model for the software development and design. Accordingly, this research would follow the case research on one business case to develop the process flow, which has helped the software development to improve its efficiency. Also, this result of research has shown software development efficiency, eProcess edge, process management and software engineering are interrelated. However, some other factors such as staff background and the background of software development project, would not affect the software development efficiency and CMMI results. According to the result of analysis, this research proved that if software development management could controlling well, which use eProcess, problem management and software engineering, the efficiency of software development would be well too. Moreover, it would not affect by changing of staff and the background of software development project factors. This research desires to comment the latest Software Industry practice by giving suggestions. It also wishes to help business’s IT departments or software industries to build up a better software eProcess system；improve efficiency of the software development and finally to strengthen the business competition.
