觸控式手持數位電視使用者介面設計研究

摘要


隨著數位頻道電視開播,各種符合收視規範的機種陸續上市,針對個人為銷售對象的行動電視將以輕薄為主要設計訴求,而直接採用觸控螢幕為主要操作介面之幾種相信即將問世。關於以觸控螢幕操作個人行動數位電視之相關研究甚少,且未有個人數位行動電視介面之研究,故無法得知現有的數位行動電視之介面設計是否最為適合使用者需求。本研究在這樣的環境下,希望針對使用者與觸控介面的互動行為做更深入的了解,並針對時下興起的個人數位行動電視為例探討以觸控螢幕操作選單之應用研究。 本次研究結果二組不同的介面元件呈現方式之原型介面,在實驗測試後所得到的對於觸控式行動數位電視介面設計上之建議如下: (1)現有產品多採整合頻道及音量切換之五向鍵設計,但改由觸控式介面設計時,此種整合型操作方式,並不利於觸控式手持行動電視操作,其原因在於若介面元件呈現方式放入適宜的觸控五向鍵設計,將影響使用者在操作時觀察電視畫面,建議採方列之方式擺放介面所需元件。 (2)建議的觸控式手持行動電視介面元件呈現方式為操作介面及資訊之區域小於切換到的電視畫面,以利使用者在操作時觀察電視畫面,協助使用者判斷是否為想收看的頻道。 (3)於電子表單操作介面元件呈現方式中,因為使用者之操作目的在於查詢節目時間及各細項資訊,若仍給予現正播放節目之小畫面,此介面元件呈現方式及操作心智負荷上並不有利於使用者正確的查詢想要的資訊,故應必免在文字查詢頁面中放入易造成使用者分心的動態畫面(現正播放的畫面)。 (4)活動及動態跳出的畫面,如音量控制OSD,在手持式數位電視中因為顯示之區域為使用者注視之焦點,故有助於使用者確認正在操作的項目及其操作的結果。

To the handheld digital TV, the portability is the main requirement and the touch-base screen operation system will on the market respectively. It is less report that about the touch-base screen operation system which used on personal mobile TV. Even more, the researches of operation interface between mobile TV and human are also still not enough to understand what the most suitable interface for end users is. This study discussed the prevailing handheld digital TV and discussed the touch-based controller development. In this study, the interface designation of handheld digital TV was based on the existent products and users’ requirements. The results of this study can be the warranty for the development of handheld digital TV, in future. The existent products and users’ requirements It is the mainstream of development of handheld digital TV which based on integration with the PMP, in future. Except the general program, the service contents have the trend in high quality, so that the corresponding decoder function needs to be thought. As increasing of the digital channels, the function of quickly channel switch must be integrated in product design. Due to the digital programs will include the digital studio audience and interaction program, so that the operation controller will need to be designed and supply the non-conventional TV selection list for users’ operation. The emphasis of channel switch, volume controller and EGP are caused by the users expect that the operation handheld digital TV can be easily as same as the conventional TV. According to the habits, picture-in-picture can supply the guide what the channel the users want to see. The simulation interface for handheld digital TV The existent products mostly adopted the 5 Ways which included the channel switch and volume controller. When using the touch-base interface, the integrated operation method is not suitable for handheld digital TV and that is because of the affection of seeing main screen for user operation. It is a good suggestion to separate the controller vertically or parallel. The suitable interface components for touch-base handheld digital TV is suggested that the region of controller needs smaller enough to avoid the affection of users to see the main screen. In EGP function, the aim of users is focused on the playback time and other details, so that picture-in-picture does seemly not necessary, even more, it is not conductive to psychological load. Movable and pop-up controller, such as OSD volume controller, is located in the center of screen and is the focus of users. This designation is helpful for users to recognize the operation items and results.
