摘要

Castleman 氏病 (Castleman’s disease) 是一種原因不明的纇淋巴組織增生的病變，大部分的病例是以無症狀的單一縱膈腔腫塊來表現，只有少數病例單獨以頸部腫塊來表現。本科於1998年7月間經歷一頭部下頜區單獨腫塊，經一系列檢查，仍無法確定診斷，最後以手術切除後，病理組織診斷為Castleman 氏病之透明血管型，追蹤至今並無法發現象。

Castleman’s disease is a lymphopliferative disorder of unknown etiology. Most cases
Presented as an asymptomatic. Solitary mediastinal mass. Only raraly do patients present initially with a solitary neck mass. In July 1998. a 37-year-old man presented to our department with a solitary neck neck mass located in left submandibuar region. The patient underwent excision of the neck mwss after serial examinations. Histology
of the excised specimen showed features typical of the hyaline yascular variant of Castleman’s disease. The postoperative course was uneventful and follow-up examinations found no recurence.Excision can therefore be both diagnostic and therapeutic for Catleman’s disease confined to the neck.
