空間設計與族群文化傳達之探討

A Study on the Communication of Ethnics Culture in Spatial Design

摘要


本文探討運用族群文化空間特質,作為設計傳達的相關議題。台灣的設計發展在面對多元族群意識、跨國企業、消費主義與自我定位等課題時,常忽略生活本質與真實文化特性的表達,而以展示性、消費性與差異性的方式呈現,誇張族群空間的構成。強調族群文化特質的空間,處於古蹟原貌保存與鄉土創新設計的理念下,或成為文化觀光工業的符號、空間意象消費的訴求與懷舊情境新空間風格的象徵。面對新社會的多元文化價值,空間設計教育應深切瞭解族群文化與其應用實踐之可行性,進而在形式與內涵上,掌握真實的族群生活文化,落實新空間文化特質的表現。

Design development in Taiwan face an enormous challenge. In this paper the issue of ethnics culture about spatial design is addressed. Design is an important medium of communication, which expresses the values of the social system. Four aspects were referring: multi-culture conscious, International company, the culture of consumption and self-image. Ethnics culture phenomenon played a significant role within spatial design, because of the demands of social status, or ethnic emphasizes the symbolic role in our consumption and use of objects. The creation of cultural events, services and visitor attractions in order to regenerate and marketplaces is by now, well documented and discussed. After all, only by understanding the current state of design culture, rather than simply assisting in the inevitability of the capital-accumulate process, then designers can begin towards its practical amelioration and to work humanitarian.
