Design development in Taiwan face an enormous challenge. In this paper the issue of ethnics culture about spatial design is addressed. Design is an important medium of communication, which expresses the values of the social system. Four aspects were referring: multi-culture conscious, International company, the culture of consumption and self-image. Ethnics culture phenomenon played a significant role within spatial design, because of the demands of social status, or ethnic emphasizes the symbolic role in our consumption and use of objects. The creation of cultural events, services and visitor attractions in order to regenerate and marketplaces is by now, well documented and discussed. After all, only by understanding the current state of design culture, rather than simply assisting in the inevitability of the capital-accumulate process, then designers can begin towards its practical amelioration and to work humanitarian.
