藝術教育於二十一世紀教育中應有的角色

二十一世紀的到來不僅是一個新紀元的開始，它同時也標誌著人類生活的另一個里程碑。在此一世代交替的時期，藝術教育所應扮演的角色事實上是相當具關鍵性的。在本文中會先對台灣教育的歷程做一個簡單的回顧，再對整體社會的發展趨勢做一番分析，藉此將其與藝術教育的關係聯繫起來。接著本文從三個方向，即機能、內容、方法來考量藝術教育的核心問題，以在最後藉著論述藝術教育的三個重要理念，也即藝術教育主體論、藝術教育環境論、藝術教育方法論來建構出藝術教育在二十一世紀中所應扮演的角色。

The 21(superscript st) Century is not only a new millennium, but also presents a new landmark of human life. During this period of time, the role that art education plays is actually important. In this article, base on the review of the history of Taiwan education to examine the changing trend of our society and its relationship with art education. The research suggests three dimensions: function, content and method to consider the core of art education. Finally, the researcher tries to argue three ideas: subject, environment, and method that relate to the essence of art education to declare the role that it may play.
